CAMP FACILITIES: JCYS Camp Henry Horner accommodations range from small lodges with kitchen facilities to large dorm-style housing that can accommodate over 100 people at a time. Located on Lake Wooster, our boathouse is full of canoes and kayaks for your water adventures while the lake is home to multiple large inflatables for swimming fun.

Camp is also home to the High Sierra Adventure Center that has a high and low ropes course, zipline and climbing wall, through traditional rock climbing is also available for the more adventurous camper! A heated pool, tennis courts, basketball courts, soccer fields, baseball diamonds, Ga Ga pit and more make up a sports-lover's paradise. But it is the campfires by the lake that make the best ending to any day at Camp.

Our summer staff of 200 professional and talented role models from around the world provide the highest level of care for each and every camper. Our extremely skilled team includes day and overnight counselors, program specialists and health center staff. For 100 years, Camp Henry Horner has provided a beautiful outdoor backdrop to summer camp memories and friendships.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: All of our campers are mini-counselors in training, and several overnight campers have become some of our favorite counselors as they get older!

CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS OR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: Jewish Council for Youth Services provides over $100,000 in scholarships to families each year. During the summer of 2014 more than 70,000 US and international campers attended a US Sports Camps program. US Sports Camps currently offers 24 programs in 15 different sports.

Our summer sports camps include: Baseball, Basketball, Crew, Field Hockey, Football, Golf, Gymnastics, Lacrosse, Multi-Sport, Rugby, Running, Soccer, Softball, Swim, Tennis, Ultimate, Volleyball, Waterpolo, and Yoga. SUMMER CAMP JOBS:
Each camp director is responsible for hiring their own staff and typically hire in late winter and early spring. CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Each camper will receive instruction on the fundamentals of all major strokes and will enhance their skills through repetition, ball-feeding drills, live-ball situations and competitive match play. In addition, campers will be exposed to team competition and match play in singles and doubles. These camps are excellent preparation for anyone interested in participating in middle school, high school or USTA team tennis, or preparing to compete in USTA leagues and/or tournaments.

CAMP FACILITIES: Our amazing facilities include: Two large heated outdoor pools, an arts & crafts studio, boating pond, air-conditioned buildings for hot and rainy days, challenge course with climbing wall and boulder, two ball fields, and basketball, volleyball and tennis courts.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: JCC "Z" Frank Apachi Day Camp offers magical experiences for children living in the northern suburbs. Camp includes door-to-door bus service plus twice weekly lunch, field trips, camp t-shirt, camp CD and twice daily swim. Our full-time camp director works year-round to assure your child a summer full of memories and friendships to last a lifetime.

CAMP FACILITIES: In addition to several expansive athletic fields, there is a spacious wooded area for recreation out of the sun. Campers enjoy the use of tennis courts, swimming pool, basketball court, fishing pond, sand volleyball court, miniature golf course, archery range, gymnastics area, climbing wall, gaga pit, mountain biking trails, trampball court and much more! Several large buildings accommodate indoor activities during inclement weather.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Decoma is proud to offer the following options:

SHORTENED DAY PROGRAM for children ages 3 – 5
provides a fun-filled day led by adult counselors and includes bus transportation, daily swimming instruction, lunch, and numerous sports and activities all appropriate to the age, attention span, and energy level of three through five-year-olds.

FULL DAY PROGRAM for children ages 4 – 13
Campers swim twice a day, and exceptional Red Cross instruction is provided by trained staff in our spacious, heated pool. The fun continues on land with tennis, team sports, trampball, climbing wall, crafts, dance, archery, drama, fishing, gymnastics, martial arts, mountain biking, photography, circus arts, theme days, field trips and much more!

OPTIONAL SPECIALTY CAMPS for children ages 7 – 13
in GOLF, HORSEBACK RIDING, and TENNIS. Specialty Camp presents the unique opportunity for campers to concentrate in specific areas of interest at state-of-the-art facilities, combined with a blend of traditional camp activities.

Our accreditation by the American Camping Association and the American Red Cross continues to prove our commitment to the highest standards for our campers.

Campers are required to enroll in a minimum of four weeks of camp. However, many campers enroll for 5,6,7,8 or more weeks. Camper weeks do not have to be consecutive. CHOOSE ANY WEEKS!

Our camp fee INCLUDES daily hot lunch, transportation, free extended care, and swimming twice/day with expert instruction.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Since 1979, Skyhawks sports has led safe, fun and skill-focused sports camps and programs for youth between the ages of 3-12.

We offer many different different sports--and countless ways for your child to grow. The camps range from soccer to baseball to our popular mulit-sport camps where kids sample three different sports (soccer, basketball and baseball) in one camp.

Our camps and programs are offered locally throughout over 500 communities. The format includes traditional week-long summer day camps and year-round after-school programs that range from 45 minutes to 6 hours in duration, per day. Our progression of camps and programs, led by our expert staff, are generated toward youth looking for a sport introduction or those who want to refine and master their sport-specific skills.

OTHER CAMP INFO: Skyhawks Sports Camps are SAFETY FOCUSED!

At Skyhawks we go the extra mile to focus on safety, and we have a long-standing proven safety track record and processes to prove it. For example, all Skyhawks Sports camps start and end with our unique safety process called "Gate System and Parking Lot Duty." This process is where coaches come and greet both parents and campers in the parking lot when parents pull up to drop off their children.

Our staff guide the kids onto the field/court and out of harm's way by funneling them into our gate system. Eye contact is maintained from each one of our staff members until the kids make it onto the field/court where they are grouped by age. This efficient process ensures safety. Additionally, it develops a level of trust between parent, coach, and child that ultimately leads to a fun and skill-focused camp for youth.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Christian Laettner is the only NCAA player to start in four Final Fours. He was the Wooden Award winner in 1992, which goes to the NCAA Men's Player of the Year.

Christian had a distinguished 14 year NBA career as well, scoring over 11,000 points and playing in the 1997 All-Star game.
