BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: Raritan Valley YMCA's Camp Yomeca is a summer day camp in the great tradition of the YMCA. Located at the Y in East Brunswick, activities include weekly trips, swimming and swim lessons, arts & crafts, Sports & games, nature, special events and all the traditional camp activities that help make summer the best time in a kid's life!

CAMP INSTRUCTIONAL ACTIVITIES OFFERED:
Tennis, Swimming, Soccer, Team Sports, Basketball, Volleyball, Wilderness/Nature, Dance, Theater, Fine Arts/Crafts, Science, and more. Our Website Contains Info & Dates For Our Specialty Camps (Tennis Camp, Soccer Camp, Arts Camp, Etc.) As Well As All Other Day Camp Offerings.
CAMP LOCATION: We are located at the YMCA on 144 Tices Lane in East Brunswick, NJ 08816 between Route 18 and Ryders Lane. This is very near the exits for routes 1, 130 and the NJ Turnpike.
CAMP FACILITIES: Our facility includes large playgrounds for ages 3-10, indoor and outdoor basketball, outdoor nature center, picnic grove, and field space. There is an archery range and sand volleyball court on the grounds. Camp includes access to the large aquatics facility at Crystal Springs and YMCA outdoor pool on site.
CAMP PROGRAM INFO: *ACA accredited camp!* At the YMCA, we’re for youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. We believe the camp experience should provide children with an opportunity to make new friends, learn new skills, develop their character and build their self esteem, while feeling safe and accepted.
CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: 7The YMCA has a counselor in training program that is designed to help participants learn to work with children through team building, specific training sessions, leadership training workshops, hands on experiences, and group work. CIT sessions fro 2015 are:

CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS OR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: Financial aid is provided through the YMCA Strong Kids Campaign, Perform Care, and state childcare contracts.
FAMILY CAMP SESSION(S): The YMCA has family membership opportunities that involve the family in regular program, wellness, and special events.
YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: Our 144 Tices Lane, East Brunswick facility has a state-of-the-art fitness center, offering membership and wellness programs including personal training and group exercise classes. A state-licensed child care facility, we provide child care and youth programs in the great tradition of the YMCA, including: preschool, after school care and school age child care, infant and toddler day care, swim lessons, swim team, youth sports, and more. Outdoor facilities include a picnic grove, playgrounds, field space, and outdoor teaching pool.

$275 per 1 week session 7:30am-6:30pm ages 3-5
$310 per 1 week session 7:30am-6:30pm grades K-7
$330 per 1 week session 7:30am-6:30pm grades 6-8
$630 per 4 week session 7:30am-6:30pm grades 9-10 for counselor in training program

Raritan Valley Y is looking for camp counselors and program specialists for our 2017 summer camp season. Applicants should be dependable, patient, mature, honest, and positive, and should be ready for a fun experience working with kids.
